Biolink exhibits at Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg, Germany

Biolink Tape Solutions, one of the leading suppliers of pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, films and foils, will present their solutions for the aircraft industry at Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg, Germany, from 27 to 29 March on booth # 6A95 in Hall B6. Biolink is headquartered in Waakirchen in Upper Bavaria, Germany and is a subsidiary company of the Planatol Group based in Rohrdorf near Rosenheim.

Biolink’s proprietary, unique solvent-free adhesive technology is utilised to produce a wide variety of high performance adhesive tape solutions, for many industries and critical applications, such as aircraft flooring.

Our AIRBUS approved and specified carpet tape, relink 2318, continues to build sales amongst the leading Airlines and MRO companies around the world.

Relink 2318 is a high-performance carpet tape, providing to the cabin engineers the benefits of quick installation, secure lift free fixation across all carpet backing types and rapid residue and damage free removal, in one piece. These benefits translate into quantifiable cost savings for the customer.

Biolink are presently in the process of developing and gaining approval of several new 2318 variants, including an NTF and a flame retardant carpet tape.

The NTF (non textile floor) tape is designed to provide residue and damage free removal from moisture liquid barrier films (LBF) and from composite directly.

With our new self extinguishing carpet tape, we aim to achieve FAR approval to 25.853(a) and thereby provide a solution for airline and MRO customers using BOEING aircraft.
